California College of Arts’ Fashion Design Program is proud to present the 2013 Annual Fashion Show, which takes place Friday, May 17, at 8 p.m. The Annual Fashion Show will be held on the San Francisco campus inside an exhibition tent — located in front of the Nave — at 1111 8th Street (at 16th and Wisconsin Streets) in the lower Potrero Hill neighborhood. A Story of Fashion is in its sixth year and showcases some of the promising fashion design talents! On May 10th, Fashion will make its presence known in Stockton! A Story of Fashion, has showcased the design talent of the students in the Fashion Program at San Joaquin Delta College. This year, it showcases 10 complete designer collections and 3 alumni collections, as well as a Red Dress Design in association with the American Heart Association.
The Fashion Program’s unique partnership with the American Heart Association has fostered a competition for students in the Fashion Program to be inspired by survivors and families of survivors to design a dress that promotes heart disease awareness, especially among women. The red dress fashion show will be a unique part of the opening of the show!

The Fashion and Design Society (FADS) at UC Davis is a student-run organization that encourages student leadership and involvement in the production of two annual Spring fashion shows. Students take 10 weeks to create a Signature Fashion Collection which expresses each of their unique design perspectives and showcases the skills they have learned during their time at the UC Davis Department of Design.
